When to service your gas appliances?

We often get asked “how often do we need to service our gas appliances?” a lot of people are not aware that gas appliances generally need servicing every 1-2 years to keep them running efficiently.

Master Plumbers recommends that yearly gas servicing is ideal, however check what your manufacturer recommends, as this differs between makes, models and manufacturers of gas appliances.

We do a lot of gas installations locally including hobs, free-standing ovens, gas fires, gas califonts / hot water units, gas heaters and gas central heating and we also service and repair these appliances. We often show up to jobs where existing installations do not meet the gas code, so if you are moving into a new property it is always worth having your installation checked and appliances serviced to ensure your safety.
